I was just thinking about this. Is there any plan to go back to older zones that we've been to and raid the bosses again? I just went to Tempest Keep, and I was absolutely blown away at the scripting there. Kael'Thas, the Astromancer - all of them were scripted! IIRC, Hydross is fully scripted as well - so he does change forms. And revisiting Kara would be good since I didn't get some video footage. Hehehehe - not my fault. Cassandra was distracting me with her skin-tight robe.
It sure would make for a much nicer video if we hit these places again as well. |

i just wanted to ask about that raid video, than i saw the post
anyway, it would be good to revisit these places, just come up saturdays, not only about 10 player... the fully scripted bosses (i think) need at least the full 25 amount
how about next saturday for example? come up, worth it. experience and FUN! |

But here's the thing.
If these bosses are scripted and working like retail, then you guys are in serious trouble. It was hard enough to do them without the intended raid attendance. For the most part, they just kept hitting with physical damage. With scripted spells and stuff, it's going to be damn near impossible - but 100 times more fun.
For instance, the Astromancer at the end of the Tempest Keep video I made. She now does her summons like in retail. First wave is a bunch of trash mobs, but the second one summons priests that heal her. If you don't kill them fast enough, they keep adding to the respawns. Then towards the end, she turns into a giant voidwalker and squishes everyone.
Now Kael'thas is a different story. Damn near impossible if you ask me. But it's freakin fun as hell.
The SD2 team has come a really long ways in scripting all of the goodies for you guys.

Well the good thing is that maybe more people will start playing now that it's more retail-like. And seeing how 98% of the servers out there are fun servers, they'll come flocking here.
Only problem is that the link that leads from the wowsites to here is dead. D'oh! |

Can we just make new ones or is there something preventing us from that? |

I just downloaded Apache for my OS/2 box. That machine has been pretty much idle, with the exception of doing periodic DB backups. May as well give it something to do.
Notice I said I downloaded it... I didn't say it was installed and configured yet... |
